Make A Website ("we", "the app") helps you create and publish websites. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account — when you sign in with Apple we receive a unique Apple identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email.
- Your content — the descriptions, text, and images you provide to create your websites, and the generated sites.
- Usage & diagnostics — basic app activity and error logs to operate and improve the service.
- Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription (handled via Apple and RevenueCat; we never see your card details).
How we use it
To build, host, and let you refine your websites; to operate the app; and to process subscriptions. We do not sell your personal data.
Service providers
We share data only as needed with Apple (sign-in, payments), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Anthropic and OpenAI (to generate your site from your description), and Cloudflare, Vercel, and Neon (hosting and infrastructure).
Publishing
When you publish a website it becomes publicly accessible at its address. Don't include private information you don't want public.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account anytime in the app (Settings → Delete Account). This permanently removes your account, websites, and associated data.
